Serguei Kouchnerov
Storyboard Artist, Director, Animator
Serguei Kouchnerov studied animation and then worked as a lead animator, story artist, and short films director in Kyiv, Ukraine.
In 1992 Serguei won an international competition organized by the Walt Disney animation studio and was hired as a character animator.
Serguei worked on Disney feature-length animation film 'Fantasia 2000' before he joined DreamWorks SKG as a Supervising Animator and, later, Story Artist. In 2013 Serguei joined Illumination Entertainment.
Serguei worked on many major feature films, including 'The Prince of Egypt,' 'Shrek 2,' 'Madagascar,' 'Minions,' 'Despicable Me 3,' 'The Secret Life Of Pets,' and 'Minions: The Rise Of Gru.'
Also, he served as an additional Story Artist for 'Chicken Run,' a collaborative project between DreamWorks and Nick Park's Aardman studios.
He directed five animated short films, one of which, 'The Hybrid Union' (2010), won several international rewards.
